SYMBIOTIC CULTURES SUPPER CLUB (2023-ongoing)
Symbiotic Cultures Supper Club is a monthly plant-based dinner party series where a team of artists designs and executes a menu, and everyone in attendance shares the cost of ingredients. We blend foodmaking with artmaking in the design of the menus, recipes, physical space, and invitations. The serial format allows for playful iterations while strengthening our relationships to the craft and to one another. Cooking and eating together has become a way to maintain communal bonds, explore the overlap between cooking and object making, and enhance the rigor of our collective practice of feeding ourselves and each other.
